Minimal collection by design.

This public website is intended to function without marketing trackers, behavioral analytics, or third-party advertising scripts.

What may be collected

  • Standard web server logs needed for uptime, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
  • Email content or metadata you voluntarily send to ANSR addresses.
  • Security-report correspondence needed to investigate or resolve disclosed issues.

What is not done

  • No sale of visitor data.
  • No retargeting, ad-tech profiling, or embedded marketing pixels.
  • No unnecessary account creation for public informational access.

Retention and disclosure

Operational records may be retained only as long as required for security, legal compliance, or research administration. Data may be disclosed when required by law or to investigate abuse against the service.

Text messaging (SMS/MMS)

ANSR Labs offers optional text message communications to individuals who provide a mobile number and affirmatively consent at /sms-signup/. Consent is collected per program, and we send only what the program you selected covers. Enrollment is never required to contact us, to submit a security report, or to access any part of this site. What we send today

  • Disclosure case updates — status and follow-up on a vulnerability report you submitted.
  • Security advisory alerts — notice when a new advisory or finding is published, to those who requested them.
  • Research coordination — scheduling for staff, collaborators, and research partners.
  • Any new messaging program is offered through its own separate opt-in.

Frequency, cost, and opting out

  • Message frequency varies by program and by your own activity. Advisory alerts are infrequent.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's rates apply under your plan.
  • Reply STOP to cancel, START to resume, HELP for help.
  • Carrier support may vary. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile number and consent are not shared

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We retain your mobile number and a record of your consent — including the date, time, and the form through which consent was given — for as long as you remain opted in, and afterward only as long as needed to demonstrate compliance with applicable law. Numbers submitted in connection with a disclosure report are handled under the same confidentiality terms as the report itself.
